Some of my gems
No indeed. I thought they'd be lower. As far as i know lower temperatures often result in bigger adults. But your temperatures are clearly working well so that's not always true then i guess.

Increase the temperature seems to be key here .
Lot's of nice stagbeetles also!
And some i didn't know before.
Today exactly one year ago we started with beetles and it exploded
Compliments, it looks very good big and healthy beetles .

I very much enjoyed your gems, and some very interesting species! I recently got some Rhaetulus crenatus boileaui. Would the breeding be comparable to R. crenatus crenatus you think?
Thank you very much. A Czech friend recently had this subspecies available, and I also got my Rhaetulus crenatus crenatus from him.
From what I've read, they all have similar preferences. It's certain that they require white rotten wood for breeding.
You have to be careful with humidity during the pupal stage.

Would love to breed Megalorhina harrisi.
Maybe in the future with more knowledge of the species.
